Discussion On Leveraging The PrimeFlow RNA Assay
Thursday, Mar 8
12 p.m. - 1 p.m. Location: RL 3.204

Want to detect RNA and proteins simultaneously in the same cell?

The PrimeFlow® RNA assay is a unique in situ hybridization assay that combines the power of branched-DNA technology with the single-cell resolution of Flow Cytometry, enabling the simultaneous detection of up to four RNA targets in combination with immunophenotyping for cell surface and intracellular proteins using fluorochrome- conjugated antibodies. Essentially, the PrimeFlow® RNA assay combines the analysis of gene and protein expression in a single application.

Join us in a discussion about leveraging the PrimeFlow® RNA assay to answer unique research questions including:

  • Delineating the kinetics of Transcription and Translation within the same cell
  • Detecting viral and micro RNA in specific cell subsets, without laborious sorting
  • Identifying targets lacking robust Flow Cytometry antibodies
  • Investigating gene heterogeneity
