Speaker - Dr. Robert Butera
Georgia Institute of Technology

Robert Butera, PhD, PE, is a professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, in Atlanta, Georgia and also serves as the Associate Dean for Research in the Collge of Engineering. Dr. Butera develops techniques to modulate peripheral nerve activity and its application to autonomic modulation of visceral organs. His lab develops open-source software for integrating real-time computing methods with electrophysiology experiments for online analysis, control, and enabling novel experimental paradigms.
