Sandra Chapman, PhD
Founder and chief director, Center for BrainHealth at The University of Texas at Dallas, is a cognitive neuroscientist, author, and Dee Wyly Distinguished University Professor. Dr. Chapman’s scientific discoveries elucidate and deploy novel approaches to advance creative and critical reasoning, to strengthen healthy brain development, and expand innovative thinking throughout life.
Laura DeFina, MD
President and CEO of the Cooper Institute, is a seasoned practitioner, accomplished author and lecturer, and leading authority on dementia. Appointed to the Texas Council for Alzheimer ’s disease and Related Disorders in 2013, Dr. DeFina has led numerous scientific studies on brain health and healthy aging, including a pivotal study on the association between mid-life fitness levels and later-life dementia, proving once again that exercise is medicine.
