This session is a collaborative presentation by the Office of Research Compliance and Contracts Administration. We will discuss participant payment from the Institutional Review Board's point of view, and provide guidance on considerations needed to ensure compliance of applicable regulations and policies that best protect human participants. We’ll also discuss the university’s preferred method of compensating research participants: Clincards. Contracts Administration will explain the process of requesting, assigning, and registering the cards once IRB approval is obtained and answer many of the frequently asked questions related to this payment method.
Registration is required for attendance and seating is limited.
