Whether you are interested in meeting new people who share your research interests or looking to land your next job, a strong LinkedIn account is indispensable. In this workshop, you will learn the purpose and value of LinkedIn, ways to use LinkedIn to strengthen your professional network, and idiosyncrasies of LinkedIn in the graduate student context. Participants are asked to bring a laptop or tablet in order to view and make changes to their own LinkedIn profiles.
