A fully non-linear optimization approach for acousto-electric tomography
In this talk, we propose a new optimization approach for conductivity reconstructions in acousto-electric tomography in order to achieve a satisfactory balance between high resolution and high contrast images. A wide class of regularizations, including sparsity, coupled with Perona-Malik edge-enhancing technique are used. Several numerical experiments performed using non-smooth optimization schemes demonstrate the effectiveness of our framework in reconstructing the conductivity for a wide class of objects with holes and inclusions.
