Title - The Relationship Between Trait Mindfulness and Emotional Reactivity Following Mood-Manipulation

Speaker - Lyndahl Himes
PhD Student - UT Dallas

Two studies were conducted to assess the relationship between trait mindfulness and emotional reactivity to an induced laboratory stressor. Results suggested that individuals with higher trait mindfulness exhibited less emotional reactivity in response to an induced stressor, suggesting an enhanced ability to adaptively regulate emotion.

The Talk will be simulcast to the Center for Vital Longevity in CVL 818.

Coffee and snacks will be provided. Please feel free to bring your lunch.
