The UT Dallas University Career Center presents: Meet & Dine Etiquette Dinner

Not sure which bread plate or glass is yours? Don't know the proper way to hold your knife and fork? Through the University Career Center, you can learn everything you need to know about dining etiquette from the difference between forks to napkin placements.

But why is this all so important?

Dining etiquette can be critical to your career and job search success. Employers want to see how you conduct yourself in social situations, especially if the job you want requires you to frequently host fundraisers, client meetings, or attend conferences. Graduate school interviews often include a lunch or dinner interview as well.

Etiquette is about presenting yourself with the kind of polish that shows you can be taken seriously. It is also about being comfortable around people and making them comfortable around you. Register now for the Meet & Dine Etiquette Dinner to meet, mingle, dine, and learn proper etiquette!

By registering, you are committing yourself to attend. You will receive emails prior to the event reminding you of the date and time.

Professional dress is required.

If you register for this event and can no longer attend, please cancel your registration within 48 hours of the event. NO SHOWS have a negative impact on events and do not display consideration or professionalism.
