Winter Festival of Faiths - Grateful: Cultural Gifts from Around the World
Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019
6:15 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Location: University Theatre

Presented by The Interfaith Council of The Thanks-Giving Foundation.

This event aims to exemplify the American values of Gratitude and Inclusion and to present cross-cultural exchanges that enrich the American experience for its residents and society at large. We will feature performances that are representative of cultures from four areas of the world: Central and Latin America, the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. There will be exciting vocals, instrumentals, and dances. The program is complimentary and family-friendly.

Join this diverse community of talented presenters as they provide excitement for all the senses! Enjoy art in all its forms... visual art, music, dance, spoken word. Many performances will be staged, and all will be worthy of your enjoyment for enjoyment's sake, but with the added bonus of providing a learning opportunity as we explore the many faiths and cultures that exist in our area.

This event will be a celebration of the gift of diversity, and the rich contribution to our individual and collective experiences that result from immigrants joining our community! The Thanks-Giving Foundation is grateful, as we all are, for those that have enriched us by allowing us to experience a glimpse into their faiths and cultures.
