LGBT+ Ally 2.0 : LGBT+ Community & the Intersection of Religion and Spirituality
Monday, Feb. 24
5 p.m. - 7 p.m. Location: SU Galaxy Room A

Ally 2.0 is an expansion of the SAFE ZONE Ally Training offered through the Galerstein Gender Center. The program was designed to meet the needs of those who have already been trained as a SAFE ZONE Ally at UTD and would like a deeper understanding of the issues faced by members of the LGBT+ community. The program further develops the tools allies have at their disposal to combat anti-LGBT+ stigma and aggression

Participants in the Ally 2.0 program will receive an Ally 2.0 certificate to signify that they have gone through the official 2-hour training and that they have a deeper understanding of both their role as an ally and
the challenges experienced by members of the LGBT+ community.

Persons with disabilities may submit a request for accommodations to participate in this event at UT Dallas' ADA website. You may also call (972) 883-5331 for assistance or send an email to [email protected]. All requests should be received no later than 2 business days prior to the event.
