Utilizing Healthcare Data for Better Healthcare

Nowadays there are large clinical datasets available for discovery research, such as Electronic Health Records (EHR) data, valuable new sources for deriving real-word prediction models of disease risk and progression. They also bring analytical difficulties and challenges. For example, precise information on covariates/clinical outcomes may not readily available. In this talk, I'll discuss analytical approaches for mining healthcare data on several aspects.

Coffee to be served 30 minutes prior to the talk in the alcove outside of FO 2.406.
