Classification results for shrinking gradient Kahler-Ricci solitons

A shrinking gradient Kahler-Ricci soliton is a complete Kahler manifold  whose Ricci form  differs from the Kahler form by i\partial \bar{\partial}f, for a smooth real-valued function f on the manifold. I will describe the relevance of such manifolds to the Kahler-Ricci flow and present some results concerning their classification. This is joint work with Alix Deruelle (Sorbonne) and Song Sun (UC Berkeley).
