Our speech-language pathologists provide in-depth, comprehensive evaluations to accurately describe and diagnose various communication disorders, as well as provide appropriate treatment recommendations and referrals.

Evaluations are conducted in the following areas:

Communication disorders:
Purpose: To assess adults with speech and/or language disorders (i.e. due to stroke brain, injury, cerebral palsy or other neurological and/or developmental disorders) and determine a therapeutic plan to improve communications skills.

Augmentative and alternative communication disorders:
Purpose: To assess adults with significant speech/language impairments who may need an alternative or supportive means to communicate, such as through picture board systems and computerized communication devices.
