Individual Therapy

Our speech-language pathologists work with adults individually to provide intensive, one-on-one therapeutic intervention. Our therapists will partner with you to develop an individualized therapy plan with short and long-term goals addressing areas of need. Therapy activities will center on functional, contextual activities to improve skills and facilitate generalization to home, work and community environments.

Individual therapy can be provided for a variety of diagnoses including, but not limited to:
  • Aphasia
  • Articulation delay/disorder
  • Accent reduction
  • Motor speech disorders (apraxia, dysarthria)
  • Fluency disorders
  • Voice disorders
  • Augmentative/alternative communication therapy
  • Cognitive-communication impairments
  • Hearing impairment
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Brain injury and other neurological disorders
  • Social communication disorders
