Callier Center for Communication Disorders

Callier Center Expansion

Vision

Our vision is to create the preeminent center for treatment, training and research in communication disorders to transform lives.

Challenge

The Callier Dallas and Callier Richardson facilities have exceeded the physical capacity necessary to sustain research, train students and provide clinical care to the community. We are expanding to treat the rising population of patients, train the increasing number of students, and recruit more world-class faculty, researchers and clinicians to support this work. We are creating clinical space for new treatment programs, labs for new research projects, classrooms for more students and offices for more faculty.

Opportunity

We have an amazing opportunity to build, brick-by-brick, the future of care for children and adults with speech, language and hearing disorders. Together, we can forge new ground and strengthen and sustain the foundation that has already made Callier a world-class treatment, training and research center. The Callier Center Expansion will include construction of a 50,000 square-foot facility for treatment and training in Richardson, as well as a repurposing of the current 20,000 square-foot Callier Richardson building for research.

Philanthropy

Philanthropy is key to bringing this world-class resource to North Texas. The opportunities to participate in this exciting initiative are varied. The naming opportunities listed below may be fulfilled through pledges over a period of up to five years. Donors may choose to permanently endow their gift for long-term support of the Callier Center and its programs, or they may allow their gift to be fully expended.
