The Quest Continues

UT Dallas made significant strides toward its goal of becoming a national research university during the five-year Realize the Vision: The Campaign for Tier One & Beyond. The University's first comprehensive campaign proved that increased giving from the campus community and its supporters creates substantial progress on many academic measures considered key to UT Dallas' achievement of "Tier One" status and the eventual assumption of its place among the nation's most highly regarded research universities.

The recent elevation of UT Dallas in the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education to its highest research activity category is a milepost in the University's ongoing journey toward achieving the goals set out in its strategic plan. A continued commitment will be necessary to not only sustain, but quicken the momentum that Realize the Vision inspired. With that support, The University of Texas at Dallas can meet its goal: to become the first national research university in North Texas.
