Communication Technology Center
The Communication Technology Center (CTech) serves as a catalyst for interdisciplinary collaboration and research, and as an incubator for technology projects focusing on communication disorders. The center was launched in early 2012 to advance UT Dallas’ longtime leadership role in clinical care and translational research related to communication enhancement.
With that in mind, researchers from throughout the university are developing new technologies that could improve the quality of life for the millions of people affected by hearing, speech and language disorders.
The exceptional achievements in technology development at UT Dallas’ School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences, Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science, and the School of Arts and Humanities have laid the groundwork for creative, successful collaboration through CTech. The Callier Center for Communication Disorders also continues to foster innovative research projects and offer leading-edge clinical care to thousands of patients.
