Diversity Award Nomination Guidelines
The Diversity Awards recognizes individuals who have committed to embracing, enhancing, and celebrating diversity at all levels of the University of Texas at Dallas. The contributions from students, student organizations, staff, faculty and the community continue to advance diversity and sustain inclusion at our campus.
- Nominees should be current students, staff, faculty and student organizations. Nominees may also be community members, community organizations, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) or Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) vendors. Nominations will be accepted from all members of the UT Dallas community.
- Nominations will be evaluated for outstanding accomplishments in achieving and sustaining diversity at the University of Texas at Dallas and the broader community.
- Nominations will be evaluated by a committee appointed by the Vice President of Diversity and Community Engagement, inclusive of representatives from the Student Diversity Advisory Council, Staff Council and Committee for Support of Diversity and Equity.
- Please attach a quality, professional photo of the nominee with application
The deadline for a nomination is 5:00PM on March 4, 2019.
The Diversity Awards Ceremony and Soirée will be held on April 18, 2019
Student Organization Award: $1,000 Scholarship — Contingent on approval of diversity project proposal
Student Award: $1,000 Scholarship
Staff Award: $250
Faculty Award: $250
Outstanding HUB Vendor
*Student awards will be disbursed in the fall semester of 2019
