What is your favorite local restaurant?

Whenever I am in town I always stop for brunch at La Duni, my favorite Latin fusion place to eat. UT Dallas is at a perfect location and offers students an array of choices.

How did your college experience help shape who you are?

Attending UT Dallas as a first-generation college student really empowered me to become independent and make my own decisions. It also helped me learn about managing my time, taking on responsibility and stepping up to face my challenges.

What advice do you have for students beginning their college search?

I would recommend experiencing the environment of a university in person, not just from pictures online. This will be your home for at least the next four years. Why not invest in your future by taking the time to get to know everything a university has to offer?
