What advice do you have for prospective students?
Ask questions – the university is home to faculty and staff members who want nothing more than to see students succeed, but we don’t know when to help unless you let us know. Whether you want to find out how to get involved in ground breaking research or simply need extra help to get through O-Chem, just ask!
How long have you been working in higher education?
Book: No One Belongs Here More Than You by Miranda July
Movie: Dirty Dancing (cliché, I know)
Song: Clementine by Sarah Jaffe
You received your bachelor’s in Political Science, what made you go this route?
People fascinate me – why they make decisions, what role they want the government to have in their lives, and how their views ever evolve.
What is your favorite hobby or interest?
Board and table-top games
What students populations do you help?
You are an alum of UT Dallas, what made you attend UTD?
I wanted to be challenged, and the Academic Excellence Scholarship program made it financially possible to attend an academically rigorous university with a thriving campus life that fit me perfectly.
Favorite restaurant near campus?
If you could redo your time in college, what is the one thing you would change?
If I could go back in time, I would take more chances. College provides countless of opportunities to meet new people and try new things. Take the risk and get uncomfortable; you’ll never have another time quite like this one.
