This site contains everything you need to know to take you from the moment you are admitted to the first day of class.

A Final Requirement for Some Undergraduate Students

Texas Success Initiative (TSI): The TSI requires students to be assessed in reading, writing and math skills prior to enrolling in college, if not previously exempt. Students can be exempted from TSI through a variety of means. Those who are not TSI exempt will be required to take the TSI Assessment to determine college readiness. Failure to meet the minimum standards may require remedial coursework. Those who do not meet TSI standards will have a registration hold placed on their records. For more information, please visit the Undergraduate Education website.
