Volunteers Praised at Celebratory Dinner
Those who served as Comet Families Ambassadors during the past year were recently honored with a dinner at Cadot Restaurant in Dallas. The ambassadors assist with new student orientation each summer and graduation activities at Memories on the Mall, and they have participated on the Campus Carry Advisory Committee, among other tasks.
Attendees were welcomed by UT Dallas' Dr. Gene Fitch, vice president for Student Affairs; Dr. Amanda Smith, interim associate vice president for Student Affairs and dean of students; and Yolandé Evans, assistant vice president for Student Programs.
The staff members who work with the Comet Families program are grateful for the friends and families who volunteer with the program each year. If you are interested in serving as a Comet Families Ambassador, please contact Annie Cassin for more information.
