Greater Dallas Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce Scholarship/Fellowship

Description:

The Greater Dallas Taiwanese Fellowship was established for undergraduate or graduate students. Applicant must demonstrate financial need, undergraduate students must have a minimum cumulative 3.3 GPA; graduate students must have a minimum cumulative 3.5 GPA. Among equally qualified applicants, a preference may be given to applicants who have completed all or part of their preparatory education in Taiwan, have a connection to Taiwan or are active in the Taiwanese Student Association. A minimum award of $1,000 per year may be given and cannot be combined with any other forms of financial aid. This scholarship will be awarded on a competitive basis by a committee duly appointed by the president of UT Dallas.

Applicant must:
  1. Submit a maximum 1000-word narrative describing your education, work experience, family connection and/or other connection to Taiwan, and how this scholarship will add to your educational and career goals.
  2. Demonstrate financial need by having a current FAFSA or TASFA on file in the Office of Financial Aid or completing a Financial Statement for UTD Scholarships.
Complete application must be received by 5:00 p.m. on the posted deadline.
