Indian Students Association Scholarship

Description:

The Indian Students Association Scholarship/Fellowship is open to undergraduate and graduate students. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, have a minimum cumulative 3.3 GPA, have at least two semesters remaining prior to graduation, and be enrolled at least half-time at UT Dallas at time of award. Among equally qualified applicants, a preference may be given to applicants who have completed all or part of their preparatory education in India, have a connection to India or are active in the Indian Students Association. A minimum award of $1,000 per year may be given and cannot be combined with any other forms of financial aid. This scholarship will be awarded on a competitive basis by a committee duly appointed by the president of UT Dallas.

Applicant must:
  1. Submit a minimum 300-word narrative describing your education, work experience, or family connection to India, your participation with the Indian Student Association, and how this scholarship will add to your educational and career goals. 
  2. Demonstrate financial need by having a current FAFSA or TASFA on file in the Office of Financial Aid or completing a Financial Statement for UTD Scholarships.
Complete application must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on the posted deadline.
