Recycling Scholarship

Description:

The UT Dallas Recycling Scholarship was established to assist students in pursuing their educational goals. Funds are generated from recycling projects promoted throughout the University. In addition to eligibility requirements, strong emphasis will be placed on course completion rate. Recycling Scholarship awards are non-renewable. This scholarship will be awarded on a competitive basis by a committee duly appointed by the president of UT Dallas.

Eligibility Requirements:

All applicants must:
  • demonstrate financial need.
  • be currently enrolled degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate students.
  • be enrolled at least half-time at time of award.
Undergraduate students must have:
  • a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA at UT Dallas.
  • completed a minimum of 60 semester credit hours, 15 of which must have been completed at UT Dallas.
Graduate students must have:
  • a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA at UT Dallas.
  • completed a minimum of 15 semester credit hours at UT Dallas.
Usually opens mid-February.

Application Instructions:

Applicant must:
  1. Submit a one page narrative stating academic and career goals.
  2. Have a current FAFSA or TASFA on file in the Office of Financial Aid, or complete a Financial Statement for UTD Scholarships available here.
Complete application must be received by the posted deadline.
