The Bursar’s Office is responsible for the assessment and collection of tuition and fees and departmental deposits for the university.

The mission of the Bursar at the University of Texas at Dallas is to handle all financial transactions involving students, faculty and staff as efficiently and accurately as possible, while always providing our customers with the highest level of respectful and excellent customer service.

Fall 2019 Payment Deadlines

Please facilitate payment by the applicable deadlines below or setup a payment plan to avoid late fee assessment or possible cancellation of classes. Upcoming deadlines: 

  • Wednesday, September 18, 2019 – 2nd Installment payment due.
  • Wednesday, October 16, 2019 – 3rd Installment payment due.

Note: There will be a $30.00 late fee for missing an installment plan deadline and a service indicator (hold) will be added preventing registration and transcripts until the entire account balance has been paid in full. This will mean that registration for a future term will be held up, even though the final payment isn’t due.  

Past Deadlines: 

  • Thursday, August 15, 2019 – this deadline applies to all students not identified as a financial aid or scholarship recipient and are registered after 07/24/19.
  • Thursday, August 29, 2019 – this deadline applies to all students identified as financial aid or scholarship recipients. This extension of time is only to allow more time for the aid or scholarships to be posted and has no bearing on the refund calendar for dropping/withdrawing from classes.  
  • Thursday, August 29, 2019 – All housing, meal plan and insurance charges are due in full or an installment plan must be in effect.
