Business Process Analysis

The Business Process Analysis function is responsible for functional requirements gathering, systems analysis and design, and systems integration issues. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting the PeopleSoft modules and acting as a liaison between the Functional areas and Information Resource (IR).

Financial Compliance

The Financial Compliance function is in charge of performing risk assessments and developing monitoring plans for high risk area. This function also serves as the primary administrator of the Account Reconciliation Application and year-end certification process. This function is currently staffed by Jennifer Mayes, Financial Compliance Manager.

Systems Administration

The Systems Administration team is responsible for Financial System maintenance, involving chart of account maintenance, assisting with reporting and analysis, administering financial system security and providing support to administrative personnel involving ledger and budget matters. This team also oversees general ledger configuration, workflow administration and monitors role-based security.

Tax Compliance

The Tax Compliance function is responsible for coordinating federal, state and international tax compliance for UT Dallas, and serves as the primary tax resource for the University community. This function is currently staffed by Nancy Barganier, University Tax Accountant.

Treasury Management

The Treasury function oversees the bank and investment accounts. This includes cash flow management, bank reconciliations, banking relationship management, and investment account reconciliation and analysis.
