Summer SAFE ZONE Ally Training

Safe Zone

The Galerstein Gender Center will offer SAFE ZONE Ally Training sessions from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both Monday, June 18, and Friday, July 20, in the Galaxy Rooms (SU 2.602). Ally Training provides a venue for participants to express concerns, ask questions, and learn about issues affecting the LGBT+ campus and surrounding community. Summer Coding and Cybersecurity Camps

The Center for Computer Science Education & Outreach offers a 40 percent discount for children of faculty, staff and students for its summer coding and Cybersecurity camps. Genome Center Seminar on Data Analysis Options

The Genome Center will host an informal seminar on options for RNA sequencing data analysis at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13, in NSERL 3.204. Open-source and commercial software options will be covered. Register here. Walk-ins are welcome.

2018-2019 Employee Holiday Schedule Announced

The Fiscal Year 2019 University Employee Holiday Schedule is now available on the Office of Human Resources website. In FY 2019, Texas state agencies and universities will observe 13 national and state holidays. The number of holidays observed can vary from year to year because the state does not grant time off for holidays that fall on weekends. If you have any questions or need additional information about the UT Dallas holiday schedule, please refer to the holiday policy or email [email protected].

Retirement Pathfinder Demonstration

Register for the 2018 Richardson Corporate Challenge

Registration for the 2018 Richardson Corporate Challenge is now open. This annual, Olympic-style friendly competition raises money for Special Olympics Texas. On-Campus Mammograms Available on June 8
The UT Southwestern Mobile Mammography Unit will visit the loading zone of Residence Hall South (RHS) off Rutford Avenue on Friday, June 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. To schedule an appointment, faculty, staff and spouses may call 214-645-2560 or 866-277-0710 with their health insurance information. Call for Comments: Campus Master Plan Update
The University is updating its Campus Master Plan and seeks input on the future composition of campus. Voice your opinions and ideas on what type of buildings or building enhancements are needed, or what services should be available. Please review previous plans and submit your comments online.

New LilyPad Space Open in Synergy Park North 2
A sixth on-campus dedicated lactation space is now available in Synergy Park North 2 (SPN2 12.224) for parents who are nursing. The facilities, called “LilyPads,” are clean, secure and user-friendly spaces for students, staff, faculty or campus guests. The SPN2 location is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please contact Fatema Syeda for access. The five other locations are in the Galerstein Gender Center (SSB 4.300), Founders Building (FO 3.102), Administration Building (AD 3.2C6) inside the Office of Research, the Bioengineering and Sciences Building (BSB 11.201), and the Research and Operations Building (ROC 2.200).
