McDermott Library’s History of Aviation Collection Has Moved
The Eugene McDermott Library’s History of Aviation archives have moved to a new facility just north of The University of Texas at Dallas campus, providing the collection with more space and better environmental conditions.
The aviation archives, which include about 15 percent more space, a 24-seat research room, a conference room and special spaces for the CAT/Air America memorial plaque and the Doolittle alcove, are now located at the Synergy Park North (SPN) building at 3020 Waterview Parkway. The new space is next to the new 300-seat testing center, an art gallery and the Comer Photography Collection and the Office of Budget and Finance.
The Library’s rare books, philatelic and University archives are still located in Special Collections. For more information, contact us at: 972-883-2570 or [email protected].
