Additional Sources
The History of Aviation Collection's George H. Williams, Jr. World War I Aviation Library contains the personal papers of one of Richard Duiven's co-authors, Frank Bailey. The Library also contains collections of material by a number of correspondents with Duiven (A.E. Ferko, Russell Manning, George H. Williams, Jr., James S. Kerr, and Olive Senn). These researchers were all acquainted with each other, and assisted in each other’s projects, so some research material is duplicated in multiple collections. Consult the Finding Aids for each collection for further information.
The History of Aviation Collection also maintains in its book and journal collections copies of all four of Duiven's books, as well as nearly complete runs of both the journals Over the Front and Cross and Cockade. There are also many other books on World War I aviation. Consult the Eugene McDermott Libraries online catalog for information about these titles.
Books and Magazines
Books and magazines were pulled and catalogued to be included into the HAC monograph and magazine stacks.
