      • MECH 1100 – Introduction to Mechanical Engineering
      • EE 1100 – Introduction to Electrical and Computer Engineering
  • Spring
    • Mechanical Engineering majors must take MECH 1208 – Introduction to Mechanical Engineering II

Events and Programs

  • All fall 2020 events will be held virtually.
  • Continue the tradition of building a unique sea-worthy vessel made of only duct tape and cardboard for the UT Dallas Cardboard Boat Regatta.
  • Mentor young female engineers at Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day.
  • Tour local companies such as Texas Instruments and Ericsson.
  • Dine and discuss engineering topics and trends with faculty.
  • Attend an LLC-only welcome dinner with the Dean of the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science.
