Asian Heritage Celebration

In honor of National Asian-American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, the Multicultural Center celebrates the rich diversity of various Asian cultures and communities on campus.

2018 Celebration – The Wonders of Asia: Asian Heritage Celebration

Wednesday, April 11, 2018 | North Mall Terrace | 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

This event aims to celebrate and highlight the cultural differences and similarities across the continent of Asia. This year, we are proud to present “The Wonders of Asia” by showcasing cultural wonders such as landmarks, cuisine, and performances. Don’t miss out on this annual UTD tradition!

Authentic Performances

In addition to performances from our very own student organizations, this year’s Celebration will feature the Dallas Kiyari Daiko Drummers. They are sure to bring the house down!

Authentic Cuisine

This celebration features authentic cuisines from popular Dallas-Fort Worth’ favorites including Pho Que Huong, Mom’s Spice and many others.

Interactive Cultural Booths

Our diverse Asian-based Student organizations have created “Wonders” reflective of their cultures.

Lunar New Year Celebration

The Lunar New Year signifies the beginning of the year based on the lunar calendar and is widely celebrated here in the United States and through-out many Asian countries. Come celebrate the 11th animal in the zodiac, the Dog with free games, performances, and light refreshments.
