Researchers involved with the NCRI project have delved into a variety of issues pivotal to the well-being of neighborhood communities. These include investigations into housing foreclosures and the provision of neighborhood quality; topics on home appreciation and default risk; measurement of social preferences; access to groceries; social capital and public goods; neighborhood effects on educational outcomes of children; and discussions on brownfields and neighborhood stabilization overlay zones.
