No Lines Online: Pay Tuition @ EZPay
Students Also Have Chance to Win iPod Shuffle
Dec. 10, 2007
UT Dallas students can stand in one less line this holiday season by taking advantage of the EZPay option, which allows them to pay for tuition and fees online.
Spring 2008 tuition payments — which are due Dec. 12 for early registration — can now be paid with MasterCard, Discover or electronic check (E-Check). EZPay is available by logging into Galaxy from the University’s homepage.
As if paying tuition from home and in the comfort of your favorite flannel pajamas wasn’t incentive enough, students who pay by Dec. 14 will also be entered into a drawing for an iPod Shuffle. The drawing will take place Dec. 17.
“We hope students will use the opportunity to skip out of long lines in the Bursar’s Office and pay their tuition online,” said Wanda J. Mizutowicz, associate vice president for finance and controller at the University. “They can also avoid the credit card convenience fee by using the electronic check option, so they have nothing to lose but time in line!”
EZPay is available at https://gocomets.utdallas.edu/web4/view-account.
In the spring, additional improvements are coming to EZPay that will make lines even less of a factor, including consolidated payment options for better online service.
New plans include:
- Payment by installment.
- Parental/third party payment options.
- Future payment scheduler.
- Direct deposit.
