CARE Awards Honor University's Heroes Behind the Scenes
Aug. 1, 2011
UT Dallas recognized six staff employees for their performance during the semi-annual CARE Awards ceremony last month. University President Dr. David E. Daniel presented each with a clock and certificate of appreciation.
“Staff members are the people who make this University churn, they make it work. Today, they are honored by their peers,” Daniel said in presenting the awards.
The CARE Award, which stands for “Celebrate Achievement – Reward Excellence,” honors staff members who have demonstrated superior performance, offered outstanding customer service and enhanced the University’s image with their work. Fellow staff members, faculty members, visitors and patrons of the University nominate them.
