Carnival, Comedian and More Planned for May 14 Through 19
A full-scale carnival, a comedy show, a ring ceremony and a special-edition newspaper highlight plans for the University’s annual Senior Week festivities, set for May 14-19 on campus.
The Senior Send Off carnival is the highlight of Senior Week, with rides, food, amusements and more. Senior Send Off is open to all of campus.
The week is part of the Senior Year Experience program, which provides resources and support to help students in their final year at UT Dallas.
In addition to the Office of Student Transition Programs, sponsors of Senior Week include the Office of Development and Alumni Relations and the Office of Student Development.

Schedule of Events
Pick up a special graduation edition of The Mercury from news racks around campus or at the newsroom in the Student Union (SU), room 1.601.
Get your photo taken with Temoc, noon-2 p.m., ping-pong table – lower level of the Student Union. First 100 get an alumni T-shirt and a free mini-Temoc plush toy.
Ring Cermony – 6-7 p.m., the Mall.
The UT Dallas ring serves as a tangible reminder of a student’s achievement and college memories. Join this special celebration in which participants will be formally presented with their UT Dallas ring.
Senior Send Off, 7-11 p.m., intramural fields. A carnival complete with rides, food, amusements is open to the entire campus community, with prizes for seniors.
Honors Convocation – 4 p.m., Activity Center.
Flexible Comedy with Jonathan Burns – 8 p.m., The Pub. Combining comedy, contortion and unique stunts, Jonathan Burns performs an act unlike any other.
Commencement Ceremonies – 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Visit the Graduation website for more information about commencement ceremonies.
Memories on the Mall, immediately following each commencement. Stop by the chess plaza on the campus mall for light refreshments, photo opportunities and a special gift.
