The University of Texas at Dallas has completed the purchase of the Waterview Park Apartments as of today.

The former Waterview complex name will be changed to University Village.  The purchased complexes will be managed on behalf of the University by American Campus Communities, one of the nation’s largest managers of student housing communities.

“We are working closely with ACC to make the transition as smooth as possible,” said Matthew J. Grief, assistant vice president for student affairs/housing operations.

Residents should stop all recurring or automatic payments of rent to Waterview Park. Residents should pay rent and submit maintenance requests in person at the University Village Information Center, which is directly adjacent to the old Waterview Park leasing office. Rent payments should be made payable to University Village by either check or money order, and the apartment number should be referenced in the memo line of the check.

University Village office hours are Monday–Friday 10 a.m.–7 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.–5 p.m., and Sunday 1 p.m.–5 p.m. For after-hours emergencies, call 972-792-9100.

An online payment portal and an online work order system are in progress, Grief said. In the interim, residents can call 972-792-9100, email uvdallasinfo@studenthousing.com, or stop by the University Village office to make a work request.

Further information on the transition is available on the University housing website.
