The Natural Science and Engineering Research Laboratory (NSERL) stands without peer on the UT Dallas campus. The four-story, 192,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility cost $85 million to build and will be used, in part, to help draw scientists from across the world and from all disciplines to the labs. About one-third of the research laboratory's space is being reserved for that purpose.
Scientists have to eat, right? Graduate students gather to meet, eat and talk in the food court area.
