Executive Compliance Committee

The Executive Compliance Committee (ECC) is a high-level committee made up of executive management reporting directly to the president. The major duties of this committee are to provide appropriate resources for the compliance program, to ensure appropriate disciplinary actions for instances of non-compliance, to approve and monitor the annual operating plan, and to provide overall policy guidance for the compliance program. The ECC meets on a quarterly basis.

Responsibilities of the ECC:

  • Provide executive-level decision-making for the compliance program at UT Dallas.
  • Serve as an extension of the UT System Board of Regents Audit Compliance and Management Review Committee in providing oversight of the institutional compliance program.
  • Understand the compliance environment and potential risks.
  • Approve the annual compliance operating plan to manage critical compliance risks of the institution.
  • Monitor the execution of the operating plan.
  • Review disciplinary actions for significant instances of non-compliance and ensure consistency and equity.
