Client Services, Marketing, Communication and Engagement, and Business Services assists the UT Dallas campus by providing help desk services, promoting educational events, partnering with schools and departments to create solutions to information technology needs, and managing IT purchases and inventories.
Business Services plays an important role in the planning and continuity of OIT’s operations. Many of the support tasks that cannot be handled by individual units are handled by our team. We can be seen as the glue that helps hold OIT together. Visit the Business Services page to learn more.
The Client Services group within the Office of Information Technology consists of three integrated support teams, the Help Desk, Labs and Desktop Support.
The Help Desk is your go-to resource for campus technology questions. We assist students, staff, and faculty with a wide variety of issues. Walk-in support is available at all of the OIT Computer Labs. Visit the Help Desk page to learn more.

Desktop Support is necessary to keep systems running seamlessly across all schools and departments. We are dedicated to providing service in regards to maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting software and devices for UTD’s community as well as facilitating communication between users and their local tech groups.
Marketing, Communication and Engagement
The OIT Marketing, Communications, and Engagement team can assist OIT, the campus, and the community in various ways. We create and host IT events, communicate OIT services, host both large and small conferences, and connecting campus schools and departments with OIT technical teams.
