Comet Spirit Programs

Power Dancers

Power Dancers are the official dance team of UT Dallas. Members perform at varsity athletic events, make special appearances on campus throughout the year, and are a source of school spirit. In addition to performing at university and community events, Power Dancers have appeared on ESPN College Game Day, Good Morning Texas and the Dallas Cowboys Halftime Show. They perform hip hop, pom, jazz and a variety of other dance styles. Being a member of the Power Dancers family provides an opportunity for students to exercise initiative, leadership and creativity through dance. The team travels to Florida each year to compete at the National Dance Alliance (NDA) College Nationals.

YouTube Performance videos are available on the team YouTube Channel.

  • Warm-up
  • Shoes
  • Practice gear
  • Uniforms
  • Bag
  • Poms
  • Accessories

Dancers also enjoy priority enrollment, which means they are among the first to enroll each semester, no matter their classification.
