In his role as the chief academic officer for the University, the Executive Vice President and Provost serves as deputy to the President and is responsible for the formulation and implementation of educational policy. He also has a significant role in fundraising and external relations for the University.

The Senior Vice Provost oversees the process of faculty review, promotion and tenure, among many important responsibilities in the areas of personnel and finance.
Vice President for Communications and Chief of Staff
The Office of Communications provides strategic leadership to shape the character, direction and principles of institutional communications at UT Dallas and organizes resources in the areas of communication and marketing, brand identity and positioning, internal and external communications, message content, media visibility/media relations, and crisis communication.
Vice President for Administration

The Office of the Vice President for Administration oversees facilities, buildings, parking, transportation, police, legal support services, real estate, environmental health and safety and emergency management.
Vice President for Budget and Finance
The Office of Budget and Finance is responsible for all financial functions, including budget, finance, payroll, procurement and expense reimbursement.

Information Resources provides the physical, personnel and financial resources for information technologies to help students, faculty and staff accomplish the research, instructional and public service functions of the University with an emphasis on getting UT Dallas in the vanguard of research and technologically oriented institutions.
Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations
The Office of Development and Alumni Relations supports the University’s fundraising efforts, working closely with deans and program directors.
