The primary objective of Texas Schools Project is to enable education research that will benefit PreK-16 students in the State of Texas by bringing together individual-level administrative data from multiple Texas state agencies as well as other sources of Texas education data.

Texas Schools Project also performs high-quality academic research that builds upon our historic focus of improving academic achievement, increasing transitions to and success in postsecondary education, and improving labor market outcomes of students in Texas and the nation.

Our research expertise spans from early childhood education through college remediation and beyond. The depth and breadth of inquiry possible with this data is demonstrated in our extensive listing of Research Areas.

Listings of publications, working papers, and dissertations are also available, sorted alphabetically by author last name.

If you are interested in conducting research with Education Research Center data, please visit the UTD-ERC Access page.
