College Journey: Teaming for Tomorrow Program

Do you like to solve problems, tinker with designs, have an interest in technology, and want to have a positive impact on others? This one-week, residental camp for girls provides the opportunity to explore how science, technology, engineering and math can be used to help people and the planet thrive. Participants will blend science with creativity to come up with innovative solutions to address a variety of design challenges. One grand engineering challenge of our time, global access to clean water, will be examined in detail. Participants will also get the opportunity to tour the headquarters of Frito Lay and network with professionals from some of the top companies in the Dallas Metroplex. Offered in partnership with Girl Scouts.

Audience: Girls, 9th – 12th grade

Cost: $450, including rooms, board and all program supplies for the week. Financial Assistance is available.

Note: Girl Scout membership not required; however an additional fee of $15 will be added to the total cost.

Design Connect Create! Physics Camp for Young Women

Description: Get a head start in physics through hands-on activities, interactive problem solving and fun engineering challenges. You will gain knowledge to be successful in school, hear about STEM careers and visit a high-tech company. This camp is for rising 9th-12th graders who plan to take their first physics course in the fall. Join us for physics, friends, field trip and fun!
