Partnerships with Informal Institutions

2016-04-16-10-43-44-2Partnerships with the Perot Museum of Nature and Science go beyond students assisting as staff for camps. An Alamosaurus discovered in 1999 in Big Bend National Park by a UTD student – on a field trip led by Dr. Montgomery – is on display at the museum. More information on the discovery on the Lajitas page. Dr. Urquhart was featured in an exhibit on women in science at the Science Place, one of the Dallas museums that joined together to form the Perot. Dr. Urquhart was also a content expert for the Perot’s Universe Gallery, working closely with museum personnel and Amaze Design on the development of the exhibit concepts and content.
