Throughout the week, we had the opportunity to work with the San Antonio Food Bank, Resurrection United Methodist Church, and the Guadalupe Community Center. From our time working with the Food Bank, we were able to come together to collectively start forming the formidable rock of change as we helped prepare meals for 1,500 kids and 11,817 meals for hungry families. In unity, we assembled trays, chopped vegetables, and boxed pounds of food to be delivered to the community, joining hand in hand for this greater cause. What this trip taught us was that as we were feeding hunger, we were feeding hope…hope that all individuals can take action to make a little difference in the world!
