Athletics
  • The volleyball team (30-2) won their first American Southwest Conference Championship since 2009 with a 3-0 victory over Mary Hardin-Baylor on Saturday. They will play Whitworth University on Nov. 13 at a regional tournament hosted by California Lutheran (time TBA). They are ranked No. 15 in NCAA Division III and second in the West region.
  • Men's soccer (15-3-3) won its first American Southwest Conference Championship since 2007 in penalty kicks over tournament host and top-seeded Texas-Tyler Sunday afternoon. The team will play against regional host Trinity University in San Antonio in the opening round on Nov. 14 (time TBA).
  • Women's soccer (14-8) had its season come to an end Friday with a 3-1 loss to No. 9-ranked Texas-Tyler in the semifinals of the American Southwest Conference Tournament. The Comets advanced to at least the ASC semifinals for the 14th straight season.
  • Nov. 14: Men's and women's cross country teams will compete in the NCAA D-III regional championships in Winchester, Va.
