Awards and Acknowledgements

  • Amber Mahler, Living Learning Communities assistant director, was chosen as one of only 50 representatives to participate in the 2018 NASPA Hill Days and National Students Affairs Day of Action in Washington, D.C. She will receive training on legislative advocacy and meet with Congressional delegates and policy makers.
  • Ashley Garner, Living Learning Communities coordinator, and Mary Jane Partain, Living Learning Communities director, were selected to present at the National Conference on Race & Ethnicity in American Higher Education in New Orleans in late May.

Vice President for Student Affairs

  • The University of Texas System Board of Regents recently approved two-year tuition increases submitted by all academic UT institutions, including UT Dallas.

  • April 2: Spirit Programs Daytona Send Off Showcase, 7:30 p.m., Rec Center West. The first 100 attendees will receive a Temoc bobble head.
