- Congratulations to Bruce August, Jr., who was selected to attend the Leadership and Mentorship Institute sponsored by the American Association of Blacks in Higher Education.
Athletics
- Comet baseball won their first-ever American Southwest Conference title over the weekend, sweeping Gold Bracket host and regular-season champion Concordia Texas, 9-3 and 12-3. UTD will open the NCAA D-III National Tournament Thursday at 4:30 p.m. against University of Redlands in Spokane, Wash. Follow along online for updates.
