One-on-One Appointments

One-on-one appointments are conducted throughout the semester by learning specialists and team leaders. They are designed for students who wish to understand concepts and ask general questions about topics from class. Each appointment is 30 minutes in length. Students can schedule a maximum of two appointments per week.

Appointments are not intended for students trying to complete or discuss their take-home assignments. Learning specialists and team leaders have the right to decline or end a session early if the student only wants an assignment completed or is not abiding by the Peer Tutoring polices.

Make an appointment through ACCESSC. Each student can schedule two appointments per week and must schedule it at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments will be located in MC 1.310

Cancellations and No-Shows

To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please cancel through ACCESSC at least 24 hours in advance. If you must cancel within 24 hours before your appointment, contact Peer Tutoring at 972-883-5480 or [email protected].
Canceling without rescheduling whether it be online, by phone, or in person counts as a cancellation even if it is done weeks, days, hours, or minutes before the appointment. If students cancel ten times or have five no-shows, privileges will be suspended for the remaining of the semester. If a student is ten minutes late, the appointment will automatically be cancelled and recorded as a no show.
